Multi-sensor Spatial Association using Joint Range-Doppler Features

چکیده
We investigate the problem of localizing multiple targets using a single set measurements from network radar sensors. Such "single snapshot imaging" provides timely situational awareness, but can utilize neither platform motion, as in synthetic aperture radar, nor track across time, Kalman filtering and its variants. Associating with becomes fundamental bottleneck this setting. In paper, we present computationally efficient method to extract 2D position velocity linear array FMCW sensors by identifying exploiting inherent geometric features drastically reduce complexity spatial association. The proposed framework is robust detection anomalies, achieves order magnitude lower compared conventional methods. While our approach compatible FFT-based range-Doppler processing, show that more sophisticated techniques for estimation lead reduced data association well higher accuracy estimates target positions velocities.

In this paper, we show how linguistic expressions can be generated to describe the spatial relations between a mobile robot and its environment, using readings from a ring of sonar sensors. Our work is motivated by the study of human-robot communication for novice robot users. The ultimate goal is to exploit these linguistic expressions for navigation of the mobile robot in an unknown environme...

In this paper, we propose a robust and efficient method to integrate the multi-view panoramic range data using the global features acquired from panorama range data. In our approach, the planes with similar normal vectors are handled as one group, and multiple plane groups are extracted from the multi-view panoramic range data. Next, the transformation ( r e tation and translation) parameters b...
